Everything you need to set up a science of reading sound wall: sound wall cards with mouth pictures, vowel valley labels, and phoneme group labels, plus a personal mini sound wall for each student and a digital version.
A sound wall organizes the 44 sounds of English by how they're made in the mouth, with the spellings for each sound. Students use it to check how to spell a word or read a new one, which supports orthographic mapping, the process of connecting sounds to letters so words stick.

How to use it:
Put up the large sound wall to introduce and review sounds. Add your spelling words under the matching sounds, and model checking the wall when you decode or spell during the day.
Give students the mini sound wall for their writing folders, or laminate it as a desk reference.
Prep is quick and easy. Print, cut, and add sounds to the wall as you teach them.
